Markers at Sheldon Hall, Shady Shore
Sheldon Hall, SUNY Oswego’s original “Old Main” named after college founder Edward Austin Sheldon, has obtained the Historical Roadside Marker Program’s familiar blue and gold sign, as has Shady Shore, the college president’s residence. Tyler Art Gallery Director Michael Flanagan (above) worked with then-intern Angelo Andreula, now a graduate of the history program, and others on campus to do the historical research starting in summer 2017.
