Mayor Announces Temporary No Parking Zones

OSWEGO, NY – The City of Oswego Traffic Department will be establishing Temporary No Parking zones in selected areas throughout the city over the next few days.

This temporary posting will allow the city’s DPW personnel to clear existing snow piles to the curb line, the mayor said.

It will also enable them to cut back existing snow banks that obscure vision to drivers and endanger pedestrian traffic.

These temporary signs will be identified by their bright orange color.

Please note that this is a temporary parking ban and will be lifted once the street has been successfully cleared.

Standard Alternate Street Parking rules will remain in effect once the Temporary No Parking signs have been removed.
