OSWEGO, NY – The Friends of the Oswego Library Business Membership Program received some much welcomed support from the Morningstar Residential Care Center in Oswego.

According to Joe McManus, board president for Friends of Oswego Library, the Business Membership initiative is to encourage community involvement and to help support the many programs that the library provides.
“The library hosts a wide variety of programs and activities. From reading groups and children’s activities to the bookmobile and technology enrichment classes the library is a valuable resource for all ages,” said McManus.
“One of the attributes of Morningstar is that we are more than just a health care provider,” said president / administrator of Morningstar Residential Care Center, Joe Murabito. “We are a resource for the community. I feel we have an obligation to support local business and community priorities. The library is an important part of our city. It is a beacon of knowledge that truly does enhance the quality of life in our community.”
