The 25th Annual Oswego County Hospice Cup Regatta will be held this Saturday, June 15, it was announced by Elena Twiss, executive director, Friends of Hospice in Oswego County (FOHOC). OSWEGO – The 25th Annual Oswego County Hospice Cup Regatta will be held this Saturday, June 15, it was announced by Elena Twiss, executive director, Friends of Hospice in Oswego County (FOHOC).
The regatta race begins at 10 a.m. and it will be followed by a reception at the Oswego Yacht Club, 11 Seneca St., Oswego, with dinner, auctions, quilt raffle, live music by Brian Taylor and an award ceremony to follow from 3:30 – 7:00 p.m., Twiss said, There will also be a chicken BBQ prepared by the Woodchuck Saloon for $18 per meal. Presale pickup to begin at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Oswego Yacht Club.
“All proceeds will be donated the FOHOC,” Twiss said. “We continue to provide non-medical support for hospice patients in Oswego County and the Camp Waves of Hope bereavement summer camp experience for children who have lost a loved one.
“None of this would have been possible without the generous support of the members of the Oswego Yacht Club and our sponsors.
