Announcing A Funding Opportunity For FY23 Conservation Innovation Grants In New York

NEW YORK – The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is announcing the availability of up to $500,000 for Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) in New York. Funding will be awarded to applications that support the development of new tools, approaches, practices, and technologies that further natural resource conservation on private lands. Our FY23 state conservation priorities are climate resilience, urban agriculture, and organic agriculture.

 All non-federal entities and individuals are invited to apply. All producers involved in the proposals must be Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) eligible. Projects may be between one and three years in duration with an estimated project start date of September 29, 2023.
