Arrest Made in Sandy Creek Stabbing Investigation

OSWEGO COUNTY – On July 13, 2025, at about 11:10 p.m., New York State Police responded to a report of a stabbing that occurred in the village of Sandy Creek. The victim, a 21-year-old male, was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

Following an investigation, Troopers identified a 16-year-old male as the suspect in the incident. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with:

• • Assault in the Second Degree (class “D” felony)
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree (class “A” misdemeanor)

The suspect was subsequently transported to Oswego County CAP Court pending arraignment.
