Wendy Bruyere and Tim Stahl joined Burritt Motors recently as business development coordinator and service advisor, respectively, it was announced by Chris Burritt, owner.
“We’re delighted to add Wendy and Tim to our growing team,” Chris Burritt said. “As we near completion of our expanded dealership, service and business development will play increasingly important roles. Completion of construction is on track for late November.”
Bruyere will oversee the dealership’s computer systems, including it’s customer relations system, and ensure that work processes flow correctly, Burritt said. Stahl joins the dealership’s service department and he will be assisting customers with appointments, estimates, and answering their service-related questions.
Bruyere worked previously in Internet management for another local auto dealership and holds a BA in English and Communications from SUNY Brockport. She resides in Central Square, with her husband, Daryl, and sons Tanner and Travis.
Stahl was a benefits consultant at an employer benefits firm before joining Burritt. He holds a BS in Mathematics and Economics from SUNY Oswego, and resides in Oswego with his wife, Rachael, sons Logan and Jonathan, and daughter, Lizzie.
Burritt Motors’ history dates back to 1955 in Hannibal when Chris’ grandfather, Elmer O. Burritt, purchased a Chevrolet franchise that he operated until 1963.
To expand in a larger market, Chris’ father, Richard, purchased the assets of a Chevrolet dealership that had been located on Oswego’s East Third Street. About a year later, he built the present dealership on Rt. 104. The dealership celebrates its 57th anniversary this year and can be reached at (315) 343-8948, www.burrittmotors.com or www.themechanixgarage.com.
