CenterState CEO Providing Free PPE Kits To Small Businesses July 10

OSWEGO – On Friday, July 10, CenterState CEO will be providing free personal protective equipment tool-kits to small businesses in Central New York through a grant provided by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield.

The toolkit will include hand sanitizer, protective masks, best practice and guideline posters.

“Businesses across our community have begun to reopen and develop the necessary protocols and procedures to ensure their staff can return to work safely, and making sure they have access to personal protective equipment, especially masks and hand sanitizer, is critical to their success,” President of CenterState CEO Robert Simpson said. “We are fortunate to have an incredible partner in Excellus BCBS, who understands that access to these tools is essential to small businesses and our community’s ability to drive its economic recovery.”

As a local health care organization, it’s vital that we support them as they reopen and get back on their feet,” said Excellus BlueCross BlueShield President/CEO Elect Jim Reed said. “Keeping our community healthy is our mission. We’re pleased to support CenterState CEO and our small businesses.”

Small Businesses can pick up a kit between 10:00 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday, July 10, at one of the following pick-up locations:

Oswego County:

– The parking lot across from the Lake Ontario Event & Conference Center located at 26 East 1st Street in Oswego.

Onondaga County:

-Driver’s Village, located at 5885 Circle Drive East in Cicero (Parking lot at the corner of South Bay Road and East Circle Drive, across from Byrne Dairy)

– Destiny USA – Parking lot on the Solar Street side (canal side, the middle lot, near the bus drop off             area)

– Dunk & Bright, located at 2648 South Salina Street in Syracuse (lower parking lot of Dunk & Bright)

Cayuga County:

– Hilton Garden Inn, located at 74 State Street in Auburn

Limited quantities are available at each location. Businesses can receive one box of  Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are asked to present a business card, or provide business name, contact name, and email.
