OSWEGO COUNTY – In order to help slow the spread of the most recent wave of COVID-19 in the central New York area, Compass Federal Credit Union will be closing all lobbies and moving to drive-thru service only, beginning Monday, November 23.
This will result in the temporary closure of Compass offices inside Hillside Plaza, Novelis and the Oswego Hospital.
Drive-thru service at Compass FCU’s George St. location in Oswego and its all-new Fulton location at 208 North Second St. will remain open. Those two branches will conduct normal business hours through the drive thru, open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.
“The safety and security of our members and staff remains our number one priority,” said Compass FCU’s CEO, Jennifer Rupert. “In light of the increasing number of COVID cases across our area, we wanted to do our part to help slow the spread by temporarily moving to drive-thru only service. We apologize to our members for any inconveniences this may cause, but ensure you that our staff is ready to work with you as needed and we remind you to please utilize our online banking services and night deposits as needed.”
The night deposits at Compass FCU’s George St. and Fulton locations, and all available ATMs, will still be available for use and cleaned frequently.
In-person appointments will be available at Compass FCU’s George St. and Fulton locations. Please call Oswego at (315) 342-5300 or Fulton at (315) 593-8443 to setup an appointment for specific loan needs and to open new accounts.
Compass reminds members that online and mobile banking services allow you access to your accounts 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from any computer or smartphone with an internet connection. This online application is FREE for members and can be downloaded via Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Included in the online banking portal is Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), which allows you to deposit checks from your mobile device.
