OSWEGO COUNTY – According to the Oswego County Health Department, as of 3 p.m., there have been 38 additional cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) since yesterday.
The cumulative reported number is 1,055 cases across the county and of those, 828 have recovered and five have died.
SUNY Oswego reported four new cases since yesterday.
Yesterday, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that some state-wide restrictions will be put in place Friday at 10 p.m. due to the increase in COVID-19 cases across New York.
These restrictions include:
- Bars, restaurants and gyms or fitness centers, as well as any State Liquor Authority-licensed establishment, will be required to close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily.
- Restaurants will still be allowed to provide curbside, food-only pick-up or delivery after 10 p.m., but will not be permitted to serve alcohol to go.
- Indoor and outdoor gatherings at private residences will be limited to no more than 10 people.
