OSWEGO, NY – For many of the hundreds of thousands of people who travel to Oswego for its annual Harborfest, the Saturday night fireworks spectacular by Grucci is the highlight of their weekend.
This year, Pathfinder Bank and Exelon Generation, two longtime sponsors of Harborfest, have committed to sponsoring the fireworks for Harborfest once again.
The board of directors and staff of Oswego Harbor Festivals, Inc., wishes to express their sincerest thanks to Exelon Generation and Pathfinder Bank for their continued support of Harborfest, an Oswego local business.
Without the help of Exelon and Pathfinder, the fireworks that have become a part of the Harborfest and Oswego identity, might not take place.
This year, the 32nd annual Oswego Harborfest will take place from July 25 to 28.
The festival will provide a wide variety of music performances from national known, regional and local performers.
The festival will also offer a variety of attractions, entertainment, and the Strates Show midway.
A wide array of food, arts and crafts, commercial and Taste New York vendors will also be available.
Oswego Harborfest Executive Director Peter Myles said, “I am very pleased that Exelon Generation and Pathfinder Bank are once again joining forces to sponsor this spectacular fireworks display. The financial support received from these two companies is greatly appreciated.”
“Breitbeck Park and area surrounding the Oswego Harbor are final destinations for thousands of people on Saturday evening to enjoy what is probably the best fireworks show they have ever seen,” Myles continued.
Harborfest is one of the few admission-free music festivals in the country.
