Former Phoenix Man Arrested For Sex Offenses After Prolonged Investigation

OSWEGO COUNTY – According to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, yesterday, June 7, 2021, following a prolonged investigation that began after an initial arrest in October of 2019, Jason McCraw, 38, was arrested for Criminal Sex Act in the First Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and 18 counts of Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child.

McCraw currently resides in Elbridge, New York, and is a past resident of Phoenix, New York.

McCraw was arraigned in Oswego County CAP Court and was remanded to jail without bail.

The Oswego County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in this investigation by Homeland Security Investigations, a component of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
