FULTON — The City of Fulton’s annual all-night parking ban begins November 1 and remains in effect through April 1, according to a release from the City of Fulton Police Department.
Under city ordinance, parking is prohibited on all city streets and in city parking lots from 1:30 to 5:30 a.m. during that period, the department said.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and remove their vehicles from city streets and parking lots during the restricted hours. The department said compliance helps facilitate snow removal, street maintenance and other municipal operations throughout the winter months.
Penalties for violations
- A $40 fine will be issued for violations.
- Unpaid fines will double after 30 days.
- Vehicles in violation may also be towed.
