Fulton Block Builders Launch Special 10th Anniversary Pride Grants From $1,000-10,000

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Fulton Block Builders (FBB), has announced a special neighborhood grant to any and all past recipient groups for amounts between $1,000 and $10,000, said Linda Eagan, FBB founder. Those interested in applying for 10th anniversary grants should go to www.fultonblockbuilders.com, and click on the Pride Grants tab to download the application.

FULTON, NY – In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Fulton Block Builders (FBB), has announced a special neighborhood grant to any and all past recipient groups for amounts between $1,000 and $10,000, said Linda Eagan, FBB founder.

“Any of the past recipient groups can propose a city enhancement to receive a grant,” Eagan said. “Things like gardens, city décor, Christmas celebrations, permanent lighting, commemorative signage, you name it. Five or more people from each block have to support the grant idea and the City of Fulton has to approve any projects proposed for city property.”

Since 2017, participating property owners have invested more than $5 million in exterior home improvements, said Tina Eusepi, FBB administrative director. “This special grant will allow neighborhoods to build on their momentum and further beautify their neighborhoods and our city. The greatest gift I have received by being a part of this program is the chance to participate in the transformative changes that so many neighbors have achieved by working together and growing their pride.”

Those interested in applying for 10th Year Pride Grants should go to www.fultonblockbuilders.com, and click on the Pride Grants tab to download the application, Eusepi said.

In 2025, FBB awarded 156 grants for 20 blocks of neighbors through their Block Challenge, Paint Fulton, and Pride grant programs. Since its inception in 2017, FBB has awarded a total of 1, 739 grants that directly support neighborhood revitalization across the City of Fulton.

Eagan said that she was moved to start FBB because she loves the City of Fulton. “What I’ve learned over the years is that the people and businesses here truly love living and working in Fulton. My husband and I moved here from Seattle, Washington in 1987. All three of our children made lifelong friends here, received a great education, participated in wonderful clubs and sports, and went on to succeed in college and beyond.

“That’s why in 2016, when the decline and lack of confidence in Fulton seemed to dominate the conversation, I felt compelled to do something. Fulton Block Builders focused on what was already going well and built on those successes. From the very beginning, it was clear that people still loved this community, were proud of their homes and life experiences, and were eager to make positive changes.

“Since 2017, the results have been truly inspiring. People have become reengaged in our shared future and are finding meaningful ways to make Fulton a better place to live and learn.”
