FULTON, NY – Fulton City Police have arrested a Hannibal man, charging him with a slate of crimes after executing a search warrant at his residence Friday.

Fulton City Police Department, with assistance of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, executed the search warrant at Quentin Lashawn Thomas’ residence at 15 Carter Road in the town of Hannibal.

Thomas, 24, who is also known as “Q,” was found to possess approximately 10.3 grams of crack cocaine and seven individual bags of marihuana on his person, police said. He was subsequently charged with:

  • Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class-B felony
  • Fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class-C felony
  • Criminal using drug paraphernalia, a class-B misdemeanor
  • Endangering the welfare of a child, a class-A misdemeanor
  • Unlawful possession of a marihuana, a violation

The investigation revealed that the defendant possessed the cocaine with the intent to sell while there were three children — ages seven, four and two months — within the residence.

Thomas was held at the Fulton Police Department, pending arraignment by the Hannibal town justice Friday evening.

The Fulton Police Department continues to pursue those persons selling or possessing illegal substances and anyone with information regarding such activity is urged to call the Fulton Police Department at (315) 598-4504 or the Fulton Police Department TIPS line at 593-TIPS or 593-8477.
