FULTON, NY – A number of Fulton Community Band members, as well as director Carol Fox have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past few days, which has led to the cancellation of the annual Veterans Day concert with the 10th Mountain Div. Band, originally scheduled for 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12, in the G. Ray Bodley High School auditorium.
“Although we have cancelled the concert, we will be rescheduling it for Spring 2023,” said Steve Chirello, president of Fulton Music Association (FMA). “The 10th Mountain Band is just as disappointed as we are, but they are committed to working with us to reschedule.”
Plans are still moving forward for the FMA’s annual community Christmas Concert scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 18, featuring the Fulton Community Band and the Dolores Walrath Roamin’ Catholic Choir.
“Time and location will be announced in the upcoming weeks,” Chirello said. “Find the latest information on programs we sponsor on our Facebook page under Fulton Music Association.”
