FULTON – Once again, members of the U.S. Army’s 10th Mountain Div. Band, stationed at Ft. Drum, will be joining the Fulton Community Band for a free Veterans Day concert, 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12, in the G. Ray Bodley High School auditorium.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be sponsoring this rousing, patriotic concert again which has become a perennial favorite,” said Steve Chirello, president of Fulton Music Association. “The 10th Mountain Band has generously shared their time and talent with us here in Fulton for many years to honor the retired and active military in our community on Veterans Day.”

The Fulton Community Band, under the direction of Carol Fox, will be combined with members of 10thMountain, and conducting will be split between Fox and 10th Mountain Director Ryan Knight.

Among the pieces scheduled for the concert are: Americans We, America Exultant, America the Beautiful, American Anthem, Rushmore, Silver Quill March, Amazing Grace, Stars and Stripes Forever March, and the Armed Forces Salute that recognizes veterans in the audience for their service as each military branch anthem is played.

The Fulton Music Association is dedicated to promoting and supporting music in our community, Chirello said.

“Mark your calendars for our Sunday, Dec. 18, Community Christmas Concert featuring the Fulton Community Band and the Dolores Walrath Roamin’ Catholic Choir. Find the latest information on programs we sponsor on our Facebook page under Fulton Music Association,” Chirello said.
