OSWEGO, NY – At a recent special meeting, local members elected officers of the newly formed Oswego County Chapter of USA Dance, Inc.
The officers are Mike Wilcox, president; Fran Hicks, vice president; Sue Pirrera, co-vice president; John DeSantis, secretary and Karen Wilcox, treasurer.
Other board members are Jeannette DeSantis, Chary Hicks and Tanna Olin.
The chapter announces its first social dance, which will include a free Cha Cha lesson, will be held on May 30 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at the McCrobie Building, 41 Lake St., Oswego.
Dance partners are not required.
Beginners are welcome – we’ll help you get started.
Dress is casual.
Refreshments will be served.
Come and get to know us, learn to dance and have fun.
The second dance will be held on June 27 at the same time.
Membership is open to singles as well as couples.
Annual membership dues for USA Dance social members are $25.
Admission to monthly dances and lessons: $5 members and students with current ID and $10 for non-members.
New members who join at a monthly dance will receive a free one-time admission.
