Bomb Threat at Central Square Middle School Deemed Not Credible

Students at Central Square Middle School were evacuated today (April 22) following the discovery of a written bomb threat that has since been deemed not credible.

Following the discovery of a written threat on a bathroom wall, students were evacuated from the building and placed on busses, as per district procedure.

New York State Police arrived immediately.

After a sweep of the building, authorities determined that the threat was not credible.

The district thanks its partners in law enforcement for their prompt response to this serious matter.

The safety of the students was, and will continue to be, the district’s top priority.
