On Friday (November 4), at approximately 2:40 p.m., State Police responded to a reported armed robbery in progress at the Parish Hardware store located at 2695 E. Main St., in the village of Parish.

The investigation revealed a man had entered the store, walked up to a cashier and demanded money from the cash drawer.
The clerk stated he refused to give the suspect the money after noticing the suspect was holding a toy gun.
The suspect then fled from the store and was last seen driving a grey Hyundai towards Church Street.
Troopers responded to the residence of the registered owner of the vehicle where the owner identified the suspect as her son.
State Police charged 31-year-old Brandon M. Eggleston from 5736 Bartel Road in Brewerton, with Attempted Robbery in the second degree, a class “C” felony.
Eggleston was arraigned in the Village of Central Square court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail on $7,500 cash/$15,000 bond.
Deputies from the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office and the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office assisted in this investigation.
