Brookfield Renewable To Perform Maintenance Work On Varick Dam June 16, 17

FULTON – Brookfield Renewable will perform annual maintenance work on the Varick Dam June 16 and June 17.

For the safety of the workers the water level on the Oswego River, between Locks 6 and 7, will be lowered. 

Due to weather conditions and water flow levels, the repair work and drawdown plans are subject to change without prior notice.

Brookfield reminds the public to use extreme caution when recreating on or near water and always wear a personal flotation device. Pay close attention to your surroundings as conditions can change quickly and respect all signage, sirens and barriers.
