Chamber Sets Dates For Oswego, Fulton Farmers’ Markets

OSWEGO, NY – Jennifer Hill, executive director of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, announced the Oswego and Fulton farmers’ markets will be opening for the season.

Shoppers select some fresh produce during last year’s Oswego Farmers’ Market. The Oswego market will open for the season tonight. The Fulton market will open Saturday morning.“Our farmers’ markets are one of our most anticipated events,” said Hill.  “Oswego Market Manager, Gail Goebricher, and the members of our farmers’ market committees are putting the final touches on what promises to be an another enjoyable season for both the Oswego and Fulton farmers’ markets.”

The Oswego Farmers’ Market, which is held on West First Street in downtown Oswego, opens tonight and will continue each Thursday from 5 – 9 p.m. through Oct. 9.

The Fulton Farmers’ Market, held Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Canalview Parking Lot on Route 481 in Fulton, will open for the season on Saturday and continue each Saturday through Oct. 25.

“We are looking forward to continuing our tradition of offering our communities an outstanding farmers’ market experience,” said Goebricher. “Our farmers’ markets are a great place to purchase fresh picked seasonal produce and connect with your community.”
