Clark Charged With Several Crimes After 10 Hour Standoff

The man who police say held a woman at knifepoint for 10 hours on Monday faces a host of criminal charges today.

Fulton Police charged Jason Clark of Cayuga St. with assault, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful imprisonment, aggravated criminal contempt and obstructing governmental administration.

Police came to his home in the 500 block of Cayuga St. around midnight Monday morning for a report of a domestic dispute.

Not long after, the Sheriff’s Department’s SWAT unit was on its way and the neighborhood was blocked off.

The standoff ended around 10:30 am, when police fired tear gas canisters into the home, swept in and apprehended Clark.
