State Police in Fulton responded to a one-car property damage accident on State Route 3 in the town of Palermo on SundayA(pril 24), at approximately 1:33 a.m.
Upon arrival, they located a vehicle in a ditch off the north shoulder of the roadway.
Investigation at the scene revealed the operator, Javan Wright, 44, of Mexico, was allegedly intoxicated.
He was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor.
He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Palermo Court on May 9 at 7 p.m.
