OSWEGO, NY – On Thursday at 9:33 p.m., members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one-car motor vehicle accident that occurred on Rathburn Road in the Town of Granby.
The investigation revealed that a 1996 GMC with two occupants was traveling northbound on Rathburn Road.
The vehicle failed to negotiate a turn and left the roadway striking a tree.
The crash resulted in the fatality of the passenger, 46-year-old John F Pendall Sr.
The driver, 25-year-old John F Pendall Jr was transported to University Hospital, Syracuse, for treatment to his injuries.
No charges have been filed at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
