FULTON – The Fulton Memorial Day Salute Committee has announced the final entertainment lineup for this year’s Memorial Day Salute. The Memorial Day Salute will be held at the Fulton Community Center on Friday May 23 and Saturday, May 24. This year’s headline act will be popular local rock band ColdFront.
According to a spokesperson, following the Saturday morning parade, several parade bands will perform at the Community Center from noon to 1:30 p.m. followed by the presentation of parade awards. At 2:00 p.m. Master Leo’s Tae Kwon Do Studio will be staging a live demonstration. The Fulton Community Band will then take the stage from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.
At 4:00 p.m., Richie Babcock will perform. Babcock plays a variety of music styles, including country, folk, rock and alternative.
From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. headline act ColdFront takes the stage. Founded in the spring of 2023, ColdFront has quickly gained popularity in the region. Known for their wide array of of classic and modern rock covers, ColdFront is currently working on writing original music as well. ColdFront is comprised of members Zach Dewey, vocals; Nick LiVolsi, guitar; Matt Castiglia, bass; Alex Seubert, keyboards, and the recent addition of Eric Wilson on drums. Fulton Memorial Day Salute is organized by Fulton’s four service clubs, the Kiwanis, Lions, Noon Rotary and Sunrise Rotary Clubs. The theme for this year’s event is “Remembering the Fallen, Celebrate Freedom”. Now in its 43rd year, the salute features the traditional Saturday morning parade, rides on both Friday and Saturday nights, entertainment, food, school poster contest, 5k run, dunk booth, watch fire and fireworks.
