FULTON, NY – The Parade of Trees for 2017 is in the history books and if by chance you missed it this year, you missed a great one.

We had 14 trees in total and you would think with that number, there would be a duplicates but that wasn’t the case.

Each of the trees was as unique and imaginative as an individual snowflake as it falls to Earth.

Guests and members of the public walked through Fulton’s Pratt House Museum to see the trees and vote for their favorite.

At the end of voting, Friends of History in Fulton members tally each vote to determine the winners in each of four categories – adult, children, youth, and business.

Each first place winner receives a $100 prize with the exception of business entries who receive a certificate of participation and a heartfelt thank you.

We need to thank the sponsors because without their continued support year after year, we would not be able to give the winners a cash reward.

A reward that helps with a multitude of expenses they incur during the year.

First Place winners are sponsored by Fulton Savings Bank.

Second Place winners are sponsored by Ovia Insurance Co.

Third place winners are sponsored by Edward Jones-Oswego Office, Blue Moon Restaurant, and Sunrise Rotary.

So, when you see a representative from one of these fine companies, shake their hand and say “thank you” for their community involvement.
