FULTON, NY – For the first time in eight years the Oswego County Legislative body received a pay increase, but rather than keep this for himself, Legislator Karasek decided to donate his entire raise to the Fulton Block Builders (FBB.)

Legislator Karasek said; “I represent the 22nd District which includes parts of the City of Fulton and I am impressed with the positive energy FBB is bringing to our residents. I make a point of supporting and sponsoring initiatives that I think are good for my District, so this decision was an easy one for me.”

The Fulton Block Builders is dedicated to revitalizing our neighborhoods one block at a time.

It is based on the Healthy Neighborhood Initiative and follows the positive lessons learned by the Oswego Renaissance Association.

The Pre-Application deadline has been extended to Friday April 14th thanks to the success of our Fundraising Campaign.

“It is because of people like Legislator Karasek that we are able to fund more Block Challenge Grants and wanted to give as many city residents as possible, a chance to apply.” said Eagan, FBB Administrative Director.

The core feature of this approach is to build on strengths rather than just fix weaknesses.

Bringing homeowners together in one block builds community and generates confidence that their investment will financially pay off.

More information about FBB can be found at: https://www.fultonblockbuilders.com/ or on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pg/fultonblockbuilders/posts/?ref=page_internal
