Fulton Common Council Public Hearings Notice

FULTON – City Of Fulton Local Law Notice Is Hereby Given, that the following Public Hearings will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 7:00 PM, in the Common Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, located at 141 South First Street, Fulton, New York relative to the following:

Proposed Local Law Establishing a six-month Moratorium on the Construction of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

Proposed Local Law overriding the tax levy limit established by General Municipal Law § 3-c.

The purpose of these hearings is to provide all citizens and interested organizations an opportunity to present their written or oral comments regarding the proposed amendments to the City Code. Anyone wishing to be heard on the proposals, may do so at that time.
