
FULTON – Friday, December 13th: A strong turnout from the Fulton community marked a recent pinning ceremony, which celebrated the dedication of seven new firefighter recruits.
Mayor Rice welcomed the new Firefighters, saying, “I am thrilled to announce that the City of Fulton is welcoming seven outstanding individuals to the ranks of our Fire Department. These individuals have completed their rigorous training at the Watertown Recruit Academy and are now ready to serve and protect our community with courage and dedication.”
Fire Chief Ketcham thanked the community for coming out; despite winter weather conditions, community support was evident, highlighting the importance of this milestone for the recruits and their families. The event underscored the ongoing commitment to fostering a new generation of public servants, signaling a bright future for the Fulton Fire Department. Recruits Brogan Laux, Joshua Lagatella-Cronk, Daniel O’conner, Derek Osmun, Matthew Stephenson, Ryan Thorn, and Dylan Waldron become the newest Fulton City Fire Department members, bringing the Department 100% staffed.
