FULTON, NY – Char and Rob Zenter had the vision to host a fun Easter event for the Fulton community. Their vision is becoming a reality on Saturday, April 15.

With the help of community donations of plastic eggs, candy, and prizes, the Zenter family is prepared to host an Easter egg hunt for the youth of the Fulton community.

The event is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday (April 15) at VanBuren Park, located at the corner of VanBuren and North Sixth Street.

There will be four separate hunts categorized by age group as follows:

  • ages 3 and under
  • ages 4-6
  • ages 7-9
  • ages 10-12

Only children in the three and under age group can be accompanied by a parent to help.

“Char wanted to create a fun, family Easter event in the park, so she contacted us to help” said Kelley Weaver, Friends of Fulton Parks Board Member. “She wants to do something nice for the community, and she’s doing a wonderful job!”

In addition to the egg hunt, there will be face painting, games, and prizes for kids.

The Zenter family and Friends of Fulton Parks are encouraging positive behavior by all involved to ensure a fun experience for all the kids in the community that are able to participate.
