FULTON – The Fulton Fire Department has been fortunate enough to have received a large skid steer from Onondaga County along with a trained operator. As we speak, the on duty crews are out assessing our current needs beginning with the target hazards throughout the city. The following will represent the flow of our efforts to clear the city hydrants before the rain comes next week.
HYDRANT QUADRANT ASSIGNMENTS:
- – Urgent Care
- – Schools including Cayuga Community College
- – Senior citizen housing (Pathfinder Courts, Towpath Towers, Fulton Mill Apts)
- – High density housing complexes
- – Churches
- – Downtown Area
- – East and West Broadway
- – North & South 2nd (St. Rt. 481)
- – Oneida Street, Phillip Street, & Hannibal Street
- – Then begin with odd streets (West 1st and North & South 1st) and continue with 3rd, 5th, 7th) And then go back and do even streets.
