Police in Cayuga County charged a Fulton man, William L. Levea, 79, of 1471 County Route 6, with murder Friday night.

The Sheriff’s Department alleges he rammed his vehicle several times into a truck driven by Christopher J. Spack, 41, of 3381 Howlett Hill Road, Camillus as they drove along Route 370 in Cato at about 6:30 Friday night.

Police allege Levea’s actions caused Spack’s truck to veer out of control, swerve across the center line and hit an oncoming vehicle.

Spack was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.

Levea was charged with murder, DWI and reckless driving.  He’s in jail without bail.

Two other vehicles were involved in the crash but only one minor injury was reported. missing or outdated ad config
