A Fulton Police Department vehicle was involved in a crash with a car driven by a man police say was drunk and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
Fulton Police allege that officer Jeremy Algarin was driving along S. Fourth St. at about 9:12 p.m. Thursday when his car was hit by a vehicle driven by Peter Wahlstrom of Fulton.
Police say Wahlstrom was driving the wrong way on Buffalo St., which is a one-way street in that area. He was also charged with driving while intoxicated and failing to yield the right of way at an intersection.
Wahlstrom was released on bail and will be in Fulton City Counrt on Decembere 3.
Police say the patrol car suffered extensive damage but neither man was hurt.
