Fulton Police Arrest Two on Charges of Grand Larceny, Falsifying Records

Fulton Police allege that a man and woman received more than $23,000 in housing for which they were not eligible.

Police announced in a news release that they arrested William L. Calkins, Sr., 42, of Fulton and Lorie A. Calkins, 39, of Rochester on felony charges of grand larceny and falsifying business records.

Police say that the two lived in apartment E-4 of Pathfinder Courts, the Emery St. apartment complex managed by the Fulton Housing Authority.

They allege that the Calkins’s underreported their income by $98,722.34 from April, 2001 to June, 2009.  As a result, police allege the Housing Authority lost $23,302.00.

Lorie Calkins is free on pretrial release, while William Calkins was freed without bail after his arraignment.  Both are due in Fulton City Court on March 10. missing or outdated ad config
