A sharp-eyed Fulton Police officer noticed an open window at a closed business. That didn’t look normal, and his suspicion allowed police to break up what they said was an attempt to burglarize the business.
Police say that at about 11:50 p.m. Sunday, an officer on routine patrol noticed a window open at the Slice-N-Go Deli at the corner of Division St. and Route 481.
As officers were about to go into the deli, a teenager walked out, police said. Police arrested Alexander M. Snow, 17, of Park St., Fulton.

Officers searched the inside of the building and found Steven T. Wallis, 45, also of Park St., hiding inside, they said.
They were charged with burglary, attempted petit larceny and possession of burglar’s tools.
