Fulton Police Make Arrest During Investigation Of Missing 13 Year Old From Monroe County

FULTON – Yesterday, Wednesday, November 9, 2022, the city of Fulton Police were contacted by the Irondequoit Police Department in Monroe County about a missing 13 year old female who may have been at a residence in Fulton.

Officers responded to that residence and located the female. A subsequent investigation by the Fulton Police Department revealed that the suspect met the victim on a social media app. Then, on Monday, November 7, he drove to Monroe County, where he picked her up from school and drove her back to his residence.

During the course of the last two days, it is alleged the suspect subjected the victim to sexual contact.

As a result, the following person was arrested in connection with the case. He is identified as Bernard P. Hammond III, 35 years old, of Fulton.

Charges: 4 counts of Rape in the 2nd Degree – Class D Felony
1 count of Criminal Sex Act 2nd Degree– Class D Felony
1 count of Sex Abuse 2nd degree – Class A Misdemeanor
1 count of Endangering the welfare of a child – Class A Misdemeanor

Hammond was later transported to the Oswego County Jail, where he will be arraigned at a later time. If anyone has any further information about this case, please contact the Fulton Police Department.
