Fulton Police Make Arrest in Stabbing Investigation

FULTON – At approximately 9:00 A.M. on September 23, 2025, officers from the City of Fulton Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing on Utica Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a 42-year-old male victim suffering from a stab wound to the lower torso. Emergency medical personnel provided immediate aid, and the victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated and later released.

Following an intensive investigation, officers identified and arrested the suspect later that evening without incident. The suspect is identified as: Jimmy M. Diaz, 48 years old, of Fulton, NY

Charges:

  • Assault in the Second Degree – Class D Felony
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree – Class D Felony

Diaz was transported to Centralized Arraignment, where he was arraigned and remanded to the Oswego County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
