Fulton Police Make Arrest in Stabbing

FULTON – On 06/21/24 at about 1:30 AM, the Fulton Police Department was dispatched to a reported stabbing in the 500 block of S. First St.  When patrol units arrived, a male suspect was pointed out by witnesses as having just stabbed a female victim.  The male was detained on scene after attempting to flee on foot.  The subsequent investigation revealed that the suspect had used a pocket knife to stab and slash the victim across her abdomen and face, resulting in serious injury. The victim was transported to a Syracuse area hospital for treatment.  She is expected to survive.  The suspect arrested for the stabbing was identified as:

Timothy E. Lando, 22 years old, of Syracuse      

Charges: 1 count of Assault 1st   Degree – Causing serious physical injury with a weapon – Class B Felony                          

  1 count Assault 1st Degree – Causing Disfigurement – Class B Felony                          

  1 count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree – Class A Misdemeanor
