Fulton Police Make Drug Arrest

Tonja D. Brown, age 39, Liverpool, New York was arrested by the City of Fulton Police Department on October 30, 2009 after a search warrant was conducted in the City of Fulton.

The Fulton Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division in cooperation with the New York State Police Community Narcotic Enforcement Team conducted a search warrant that resulted in the following charges against Tonja D. Brown;

Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (2 counts),a class B Felony and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd (2 counts), a class A Misdemeanor.

The defendant is accused of possessing .9 ounces of crack cocaine with the intent to sell the cocaine. The cocaine was packaged in a plastic bag, and the defendant is also accused of possessing a set of digital scales.

Tonja D. Brown was arraigned on the above charges by Fulton City Court Judge Spencer J. Ludington. Judge Ludington remanded Tonja D. Brown to the Oswego County Public Safety Center in lieu of $15,000 Cash or $25,000 Secure Bail bond.

The defendant is scheduled to appear in Fulton City Court on Wednesday November 4, 2009 at 9:00 AM.
