Fulton Police Seeks Public Assistance In Identifying Person Who Set Fire

FULTON – On March 31, 2023, at about 1:00 a.m., the City of Fulton Police responded to Brewer’s Garage located at 214 W. Broadway in the City of Fulton, regarding a suspicious fire.

When police arrived, three vehicles that were parked in the lot of the business, were on fire.  All of the vehicles were totaled and damage was caused to an adjacent, vacant structure.  Police onscene reviewed surveillance footage from the business and observed a suspect walk southbound on W. Third St. S., carrying two, red plastic gas cans.

The suspect entered the parking lot, walked over to the cars, poured a significant amount of gasoline over the vehicles, and lit them on fire.  The suspect fled on foot, and was last seen running northbound on W. Third St. S. from W. Broadway.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing dark colored pants, dark colored boots, a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, and a dark colored mask. The suspect also appeared to have a silver chain hanging off the right rear side of his pants.
