Fulton has begun its annual ban on all-night parking on city streets.
The ban began overnight today (Nov. 1) and runs until April 1.
Under the ban, vehicles must be off city streets and out of city parking lots from 1:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. so snow can be removed without difficulty.
Vehicles violating the ban will be ticketed, and the ticket comes with a $15 fine that doubles every ten days. Vehicles may also be towed.
It’s important to note that the ban is in effect even when there’s no snow on the ground and none in the forecast.
