Granby Family Fun Day sure to be a hit

GRANBY, NY – Looking for something fun to do this weekend?

The town of Granby will be hosting its Family Fun Day at the Granby Community Center on July 20 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

“It’s a good day for people to come and enjoy themselves,” said Granby Supervisor Ed Williamson.

Tents will be set up at the Community Center and there will be free food and entertainment ranging from face-painting to tie-dying.

“Everything’s free, popcorn, cotton candy,” said Williamson. “The only thing they pay for is a hotdog or a hamburger. ARISE takes care of that, and its $1.”

Granby will break out the old-fashioned pop-corn machine for the event which will also feature horseback rides and an appearance by the State Police and their K9 unit.

The Citizen of the Year will be honored at 1 p.m.

Magical John will perform at 1:30 p.m.

“It’s a fun day for little to no money for a family,” said Williamson.

So, if you’re looking for something fun to do with the whole family on July 20, make sure to stop by the Granby Community Center on County Route 8 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. missing or outdated ad config
