Under the leadership of Mike Tryniski, the G. Ray Bodley High School girls bowling team has had a perfect season. The girls were 11-0 and Section Three champions.
Bowler Mikayla Guernsey rolled the second-highest three-game series at the New York State Championships as the team finished fifth in the state.
“To win the Onondaga County crown, that’s something,” said Common Council member Peter Franco. Each of the Councilors extended their congratulations to the girls and their coach.
Councilor Carm Cavallaro said, “I would like to really thank Mike, I’ve seen him in action quite a few times, all the time and effort that he puts into this, this is what our young people need.”
