Hannibal Veterans Mark Flag Day at Vets Fest

Members of the Hannibal American Legion Post #1552 gathered Saturday for their annual Vet Fest.

Leo Malone and Barbara Richards were honored as part of the event.

The Flag Day weekend ceremony’s highlight came at dusk.

Vets set a watch fire to dispose of damaged American flags properly and with respect.
