OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County, including preventive health services, a certified home health care, long-term home health care, a certified hospice, and a maternal and child health program.
Flu vaccine is now available at the county immunization clinics for adults and for children aged 6 months to 18 years.
Appointments must be made in advance.
To make a flu shot appointment, call the Oswego County Health Department, phone 349-3547 or 1-800-596-3200, ext. 3547 weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Appointments may also be made online at: https://www.onflu.net/oswego/
Those who are covered by Medicaid or Medicare Part B should bring their cards to the clinic.
There is a $30 charge for an adult’s flu shot and a $15 charge for the children’s flu shot.
There will be no clinics scheduled on Friday the 23rd due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
The following services will be offered on Monday and Tuesday during the week of Nov. 19, at the Nick Sterio Public Health Clinic, 70 Bunner St., Oswego.
OSWEGO:
HIV Testing: Nov. 19, 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.; and Nov. 20, 1 to 3 p.m., appointment needed.
Pregnancy Testing: Free pregnancy testing is available. Call 349-3391 for appointment.
There is a $45 charge for a pneumonia shot and there may be a fee for other services.
