Lee Memorial Earns Third Consecutive Award For Quality Respiratory Care

FULTON, NY – A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital in Fulton has earned its third consecutive Quality Respiratory Care Recognition (QRCR) award from the American Association for Respiratory Care.

Lee Memorial is the only healthcare facility in Oswego County with this designation, and among just 15% of hospitals in the United States that hPam Atkins with a ventilator.ave applied for and received this award.

“We’re very pleased to be recognized for our level of care,” said Jennifer Carey, RRT, cardiopulmonary clinical manager.

The hospital was required to meet or exceed several criteria for staffing, training, oversight, and procedures provided.

Respiratory therapists are specially trained health care professionals who work under physician’s orders to provide a wide range of breathing treatments and other services to people with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis, lung cancer, AIDS, and other lung or lung-related conditions.
