Levea Pleads Not Guilty in Cayuga County Court

OSWEGO, NY – The Fulton man who allegedly caused the death of  Camillus man last fall in a road-rage accident pleaded not guilty today in Cayuga County Court.

William L. Levea, 79, appeared in court, with several members of the victim’s family present.

He is alleged to have rammed Christopher Spack’s pickup truck from behind on Route 370 in Cato. That caused the pickup into the path of an oncoming vehicle.

Spack, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Levea was indicted on 15 charges in connection with the crash, the most serious being second-degee murder.

Citing Levea’s violent criminal past, the judge denied bail.
