FULTON – Resolution Of Honor
Whereas Don Patrick J Junior, a lifetime resident, dedicated public servant and esteemed member of our community, has served the city of Fulton with distinction for 54 years. And whereas Donald Patrick Jr began his employment with the city of Fulton on December 31st, 1971, as a laborer with the PEP program and continued his service to the city of Fulton and its residents for the next 44 years.
He held many titles throughout his 44-year career, including 11 years as our sewage treatment plant operator, then our chief wastewater treatment plant for 25 years, retiring December 31st, 2015. And whereas he has faithfully served as a member of the common council representing the interests of the third Ward with integrity and dedication since January 1, 2016, and whereas his leadership, dedication, and positive impact on our city, have earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues, fellow residents, and the entire community.
He has consistently gone above and beyond the call duty to serve the needs of our city and its relatives, and whereas his selfless service and unwavering dedication had had a profound and positive impact on the lives of countless individuals and the overall wellbeing of our community, and his contributions to our city service and an inspiration to all residents and exemplify the true spirit of community service, and now therefore be resolved that this resolution of honor be presented to Donald Patrick jr at the token of our deepest respect and admiration for his lifetime service and invaluable contributions to our community, and be a further resolve that this resolution be spread upon the official records of this common council meeting on February 4, 2025, and a copy thereof be presented to Donald Patrick jr.
