Memorial Golf Tournament To Benefit Hospice

The Allison Regner Balcom 2008 Golf Open is scheduled for Saturday, August 16 at 9:00 a.m. at Evergreen Hills Golf Course on County Route 20 in Oswego. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit Oswego County Hospice.

Allison was an Oswego County Home Health Aide who died in a motor vehicle accident going to work in August 2000. According to her mother, Elaine Regner, Allison loved her job and helping people. “By holding this golf open, Allison is still helping her patients,” Regner said.

Entry fee for the Captain & Crew tournament is $50 per person and includes greens fees and cart, prizes and a chicken barbeque following the tournament. To attend the barbeque only, the cost is $10. Tee sponsorships are also available for $50.
